Distinguished fellow Erzya!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atyan\u2019 Ezem hereby announces its decision concerning holding the Rasken\u2019 Ozks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rasken\u2019 Ozks will take place on July 9, 2022, in a village of Chukaly, Bolsheignatovskiy district, Republic of Mordovia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Our people are experiencing very hard times. Distribution of information is limited, transfers from remote regions is complicated, it is almost impossible to arrive on Rasken\u2019 Ozks from other countries due to financial as well as many other reasons. On April 1, 2020 Atyan\u2019 Ezem adopted the Statute on formation and operation of national representative bodies of Erzya people (hereinafter the Statute)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to article 2 of the Statute, Promks (Convention) of Erzya people should be conducted during the current year. However circumstances prevailing in areas with sizeable populations of Erzya make it impossible to conduct elections of Promks delegates, therefore rendering impossible holding of the Promks itself. So on November 5, 2021, Inyazor (Chief Elder), according to article 13 of the Statute, \u00a0published the Merema<\/a> (Decree) about impossibility of Promks conduction.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the aforementioned article 13 publication of Merema  marks the beginning of a special period when plenary powers of Promks are transferred directly to Atyan\u2019 Ezem, until Inyazor will not declare the absence of any obstacles for Promks realization. It should also be noted that the very same circumstances that do not allow to elect delegates to Promks in the conditions of COVID pandemics and so-called “special military operation”, prevent us from holding of free elections to new Atyan\u2019 Ezem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore acting Atyan\u2019 Ezem, exercising its rights as Promks, hereby announces the following decision:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 We urge every Erzya, who have an opportunity to arrive to Rasken\u2019 Ozks, conduct it in conformity with our Erzya rules, customs and traditions. Come to pray to Ineshkipaz for our Erzya people, to remember our great ancestors, to renew Maar (National memorial mound), gather around our family Shatolla (Candle), to join hands in Rasken\u2019 Kir\u2019ks. Come to meet with your fellow Erzya, let\u2019s think and talk about the fate of our people together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 This Rasken\u2019 Ozks will not include a special electoral session of Atyan\u2019 Ezem, where new Inyazor is (re)elected. Atyan\u2019 Ezem hereby desides to postpone such elections untill better times.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Atyan\u2019 Ezem will further continue its work in current composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Atyan\u2019 Ezem imposes obligations on Syres\u2019 Boliayen\u2019 to perform his duties as Inyazor of Erzya people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Elections of Inyazor will be conducted as soon as the real opportunity for such elections presents itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Atyan\u2019 Ezem will make a special announcement on such future elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
